Sarah Lindsey Hazelwood

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless." - Mother Teresa

Lindsey Hazelwood was born on May 30, 1980 in Boise, ID, went to Boise High School, and graduated from Timberline High School. She is a junior pursuing her degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in K-12.

Lindsey was a drum major in high school, plays clarinet, and currently plays tenor saxophone in the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band and basketball pep bands. She was also voted Most Outstanding Freshman her first season in Blue Thunder.

Lindsey spends her summers working as a river guide and works as a Resident Advisor during the academic year. She is active in Boise State Track and Field and enjoys kayaking, camping, and visiting with her best friend. Lindsey prefers heroic underwear, particularly that featuring She-Ra or Scooby Doo.

Once she graduates, Lindsey wants to go kayaking in Nepal and Europe. She will one day be a great physical education teacher, in part because she always remembers that people have to be good to one another and never put their money in one pocket since it is, after all, a big world out there - and don't forget to smile and laugh at least once a day.
