Jeremy Michael Mattern"Get busy living, or get busy dying." - Stephen King Jeremy "Murray" Mattern graduated from Kuna High School and is a junior pursuing his major in history. He is a clarinetist in the All-Campus Concert Band and the Boise State University Orchestra, and an alto saxophonist in the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band, the volleyball pep band, and the men's basketball pep band. While in high school, Murray received the National Education Award and the All American Musician Award, was recognized in Who's Who in Music, and played in the 1998 Boise State University All-Star Honor Band. Murray was clarinet section leader, co-director of the Ross Elementary band in 1998-1999, and is currently the treasurer of the colony. While he would one day like to be a university history professor or a composer of film scores, at present time Murray earns his wages as a "shoe man". He spends his spare time studying military history, trolling for used soundtracks, playing chess, listening to Latin jazz, and collecting Stan Kenton albums. Murray was born on Friday, July 13, 1980 at 13:13, and prefers to keep the color of his undergarments classified, thank you very much. |
